Outreach Assistant

Work with Outreach Manager and Executive Director to establish marketing and outreach goals for the semester. Work with Outreach Manager and other CFI Team Members to implement a marketing plan for specific program areas during internship period, e.g. Discovery Kitchen, Veggie Van, etc. Design brochures, flyers, newsletters, and other marketing materials to support CFI programs. Support CFI volunteer and sponsor outreach; Support CFI social media through attending events and taking photographs, with additional responsibilities TBD.

Gardens Assistant

Work with community gardeners, CFI staff, volunteers & interns at community garden sites to help with garden maintenance (weeding, clearing paths, mulching, turning compost, watering, etc.). Assist in networking with community members and organizations to solicit new gardeners to fill open plots. Aid with the planting, growing, and harvesting of food for our Donation Station.

Donation Station Assistant

Assist with Donation Station at any of the following times and locations: Mondays at distribution prep from 5pm-7pm; Tuesdays at food distribution from 8:15am-11am; Wednesdays at the Athens Farmers Market from 9am-1pm; Mondays and Thursdays at the Chesterhill Produce Auction from 3PM-7PM (Until Mid-October); Saturdays at the Athens Farmers Market, 9am-1pm.

Veggie Van Assistant

Opportunity to assist with all operations of the Veggie Van, including: Chesterhill Produce Auction, Mondays and Thursdays from 3PM-7PM; Nelsonville Veggie Van, Tuesdays from 2PM-6:30PM; Coolville Veggie Van, Wednesdays from 2PM-6:30PM; Glouster Veggie Van, Fridays from 2PM-6:30PM.
